For the last 3 years Emily and I have taken our kids to the lake for a few days of what always sounds like fun. And, of course, it is. This year we were armed with activities...painting picture frames, silly string fight in the driveway, movie time, making headbands, foamies, etc. The kids still liked the mule rides the best, got bored, and wanted to always be where we were wondering what was next. The dogs loved it and are completely wiped out. Best weekend story goes to Hayden for his comment when Gracie started singing an improvisational song about his dog, Maddie. He said that Maddie didn't like that song, she's a rock n' roll dog - it was classic. Enjoy the pics of the gang...

Love all of the pictures! Went back to Ann's blog... to find you here. Glad you are trying to catch up on some rest. Emily said ya'll were heading to the lake soon(a couple of weeks ago when the twins babysat her kiddos). Think of you EVERY day. John Thomas has already left for CA/Hawaii. Twins are dying to babysit/play with Grace and Collin. Give us a shout when you are available. Yes, we need pictures of the new do!! Love you.
