Hurricane Ike has hit and the looters are out...beware! Here in Dallas, weather coverage has taken over all networks for the last 24 hours to tell us repeatedly what to expect today and the forecast for the next week. It only takes 5 minutes people! Why must they repeatedly give us the same info. over and over and over. When did a simple storm become an all out emergency giving the weather depts. the right to cancel all programming. Now, if we were in Houston - I understand and I do pray for the safety of those in the affected and for those who have lost their homes and property - but, here in Dallas, we have mild winds (25-30 mph) and some rain - that's it!!! If you want to watch all day and all night go to the weather channel or the internet and return the rest of us to our regularly scheduled programming, giving us updates at the appropriately scheduled news time! Thank you.
